Terms of Service

Last updated: 4 October 2026

1. The service

SovByte Technology LLP ("we") provides Sovereign Cloud: storage of the files you upload, SQL queries on them, and downloads of the original files, through our website and API. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Plans and limits

Free (2 GB stored, 10,000 queries a month), Pro (50 GB, 50,000 queries, ₹4,999 a month), Growth and Enterprise (by invoice). Stored size is measured after compression. If you exceed your plan, new uploads or queries are refused until you delete data, the month resets or you upgrade; existing files are never deleted for exceeding a limit.

3. Billing, cancellation and refunds

Pro is billed monthly in advance through Razorpay, in INR; prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed. We do not refund partial months. If you were charged in error, email us within 7 days and we will refund the charge. Growth and Enterprise are billed by invoice on the terms agreed with you.

4. Your data

Your files remain yours. We use them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to upload the data you store with us, including any personal data in it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to store or distribute unlawful content, to attack or probe our systems or other customers, or to get around plan limits. We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why.

6. Availability

We work to keep the service available and your data intact, but we do not yet offer a service-level agreement. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Questions: [email protected].
